Founded in 1976 by brothers John and Jim Snead, Air Land Transport started with an idea and a handful of dedicated professionals focused on providing efficient transportation service within the state of Alaska. Today we manage three terminal locations with a fleet of 60 power units and over 100 trailers.
Air Land is built on developing long-lasting relationships with our customers. Utilizing over 43 years of experience, we provide reliable service and exceptional customer care while navigating the unique challenges faced with freight transportation in Alaska.
Our diverse fleet allows us to transport FTL and LTL loads of various commodities including dry goods, refrigerated product (freeze/chill), flatbed loads and oversized materials.
We recover and deliver freight to any air cargo facility for remote location or our service destinations. Each driver is trained to comply with TSA regulations.
We provide cross-dock service to customers who consolidate shipments and require dispersal to several destinations. We consolidate from multiple or single deliveries.
